Dr. Holmes* and Dr. Boxer Wachler* offer a number of specialty cataract procedures including small incision clear cornea intra-ocular lenses. Visian implantable contact lenses (posterior chamber lenses), ReSTOR® and ReZoom ™ multifocal lens implants. We utilize the latest technology in calculating lens implant powers. Along with these options we take extra caution in the surgical closure aspect to minimize the risk of intra-ocular infection. Traditional cataract surgery is completed at the La Quinta Surgery Center. This surgery is done under IV sedation with only topical anesthesia. This approach means rapid vision recovery for patients and almost immediate post op vision.
