Victor Holmes, M.D.
Dr. Holmes is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia. He is board certified and specializes in cataract surgery. Dr. Holmes performs up to 50 cataract surgeries each month. He performs cataract surgery with sedation under only topical anesthesia. This approach allows patients almost immediate vision post operatively and eliminates the pain of peri-orbital injections. Along with cataract surgery he also performs eye lid surgery (entropion, ectropion and blepharoplasty), pterygium excision with conjunctival and amniotic membrane transplantation, glaucoma filtering surgeries and refractive lens exchange surgery. We are proud to have him join our practice on a surgical management basis. Surgery is completed at the La Quinta Surgery Center and consultations completed at our new La Quinta location.
